Mrs. Caloca....Transitional Kindergarten Teacher
I have been an educator for over 25 years! I have been with NLMUSD for 22 years, all of them teaching kindergarten and my ninth year in TK at Morrison Elementary! I received my B.A from Long Beach State, my teaching credential from UCLA, and my Master's from Walden University. I have the best job ever! Impacting student lives, and seeing such amazing student growth from August to June, makes my job worth all the hard work that goes into it!! I am married and I have 2 children, a daughter, who is also a teacher and a son, who is a Police Officer. I also have a step daughter who works at a junior college as the writing center manager. My first grandson, Logan, is 6 years old, my second grandson, Levi, just turned 4, my third grandson, Jaxson, is 3 my granddaughter, Olivia, just turned 2 and my last grandchild is Maverick, who is 3 months old! They are my pride and joys!! Being a grandparent is truly amazing and it brings me much joy and happiness!
Hobbies
Most of all I enjoy spending time with my family! I enjoy hiking, going to Book Club, swimming, walking, gardening, and I am an avid reader. I enjoy reading a variety of books; biographies, mysteries, non-fiction and fiction. When I get a chance I also love to travel! Over this last summer, I had the opportunity to visit my cousin in Hawaii! It was an amazing time!
